To Our Patients:

The physicians at Group Anesthesia Services (GAS) currently provide anesthesia at Good Samaritan Hospital, Community Hospital of Los Gatos, and surrounding ambulatory surgery centers. The physicians at GAS are committed to providing you with safe, high quality anesthesia care.

While your insurance premiums have escalated over the last several years, payments to physicians have not changed. Like many other physician groups, we have attempted to negotiate reasonable contract terms with medical insurance carriers. In many instances, we have been unable to reach an agreement with these carriers and have been forced to terminate our contracts with them. Therefore, we may not be a participating provider for your insurance plan at this time.

Be assured this does not exclude GAS physicians from providing your anesthesia care. Almost all plans provide some reimbursement to cover your medical services when provided by a non-contracted physician. You should contact your insurance plan directly or your human resource department for more information regarding benefits.

Please understand you are responsible for charges for services rendered by GAS physicians. We are happy to bill your insurance company for you and to assist you in any way we can. If you have any questions, please contact our office at 408-354-2114 between 8:30AM and 12:00PM.
